About the author
Wahyuni Hadi is an arts manager and film curator & producer. She has spent a large part of her career promoting Southeast Asian cinema and contributing to the arts, having worked at Objectifs Centre for Photography & Filmmaking, Singapore International Film Festival, MediaCorp Arts Central and The Substation Centre for the Arts. Wahyuni is an Eisenhower Fellow and received the United Technologies Corporation Fellowship in 2016. In 2013, Hadi published the book Behind the Camera and co-produced the film Ilo Ilo. In 2022, she was presented with the Professional Achievement Award by Ramkhamhaeng University’s ASEAN Film Festival for outstanding contribution to ASEAN cinema.
